Reno Omokri, activist and a former spokesperson to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has stirred some conversations on Twitter by posting the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s ratings of 2023 Presidential Candidates’ qualifications.
As contained in his post on Wednesday, Omokri cited the commission and the records they have on the Presidential Candidates, including All Progressives Congress, APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Labour Party, LP’s Peter Obi, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to mention a few.
He said, “Peter Obi’s highest qualification, according to INEC, is a Bachelor’s degree. Tinubu’s highest qualification, is a Bachelor’s degree. Atiku’s highest qualification, according to INEC, is a Masters’s degree. Do the math and vote wisely in 2023!”
Sensing the hidden agenda of Omokri trying to sell Atiku over the other contestants, one tweep @oninna_ibiam, tweeted, “At times I begin to wonder if actually he is the one handling his tweets, because this was not the Reno that I followed due to his constructive approach and frown at APC bad government, but like someone said he sold his birthright for a plate of Porridge.”
