Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor professionally known as Rema in a question and answer session on the Noisy Questionnaire of Life picked Burnaboy over Wizkid in the list of questions he answered.
Rema is one of Nigeria’s new generation artist and has been tipped for greater things by music fans. The Jonzing/Mavin Records act has been on the watchlist of music lovers since making President Obama‘s 2019 summerlist.
The 20-year-old music star is on BET awards 2020 nomination list and has got more accolades both home and abroad in recent times.
Rema featured on the Noisy Questionnaire of Life aired by Vice UK and picked Burnaboy over Wizkid in the series of questions he was asked.
The ‘Iron Man‘ singer had to pick one among three choices he was given in the show which ranges from music, social media, food, video games, movie, etc.
When asked to make a choice in between Lil Nas, Nas and XXXtentacion, he picked the last option because he drew inspiration from him (xxxtentacion). He also picked Tupac ahead of Jay Z and Biggie.
He also had to choose between the trio of Wizkid, Burnaboy and Naira Marley, Rema picked Burnaboy and gave reason for his choice.
He said ”I connect more with Burna. I love his story and I listen to Burna from days back. I also saw a lot that was happening around that time and seeing how he got to deal with those battles is very inspiring’‘
Rema continued by choosing Instagram ahead of Twitter and Facebook because it made him.
