Reekado Banks Lists 10 Artists To Watch Out For
Given the evolution in the Nigerian music industry, famous Afro-Beats singer, Ayoleyi Solomon, also known as Reekado Banks has listed ten artists to watch out for.
The singer, who made the selection and posted the list on his Instagram page urged his fans and followers to pay keen attention to the ten artists.
According to Reekado, some of the artists recently caught his attention adding that he has been watching some of them for a while as he further stated that he was very impressed by their skills.
1.Attifaya: Reekado said he has watched him closely over the years and have seen how much he has grown.
He described Attifaya’s writing skills as amazing as he also pointed out that he was impressed by his recent EP titled Faya vibes.
Reekado said the artist displayed strong versatility adding that range is very important for a true artist.
2.Tolani: According to Reekado Banks, the female singer is different and solemn with her difference.
He opined that Tolani is not an everyday artist but an artist who is intentional with her art.
Reekado disclosed that he likes to unwind with her type of vibe and like to see her perform.
3.Blaqbonez: Reekado stated that it is really hard not to like blaqbonez whom he described as funny and has an outstanding skill.
He said the artist goes beyond being the best rapper in Africa but a whole entertainer.
Reekado also described his latest record Haba as solid.
4.Omah Lah: In Reekado’s words “Omah Lay has something really big when I listen to his music, I feel there is so much more coming and he will figure it out many other ways to keep killing it.”
He said he was looking forward to hearing what is next adding that the singer is a star.
5.Leopard: Reekado said he listened to the artist’s song Shola featuring Mr Eazi and the song caught his attention.
He described him as a different artist he would like to sign because of his raw and authentic sound.
6.Tome: Reekado listed Tome as the sixth artist to watch out for noting that it is uncommon to find an artist that can branch into any sound and do it well.
He described her as a dynamic artist.
7.CKay: Another artist listed by Reekado is Ckay whom he described his music as such that goes with all time.
Reekado revealed that he started listening to the artist’s song since 2018 as he also noted that he loved his EP titled “CKay the First.“
He said the EP is growth from everything CKay has been doing from time past.
8.Ajebo Hustlers: The 8th artist on the list that was released by Reekado Banks is Ajebo Hustlers noting that the singers are one of the latest discoveries as he stated that their voices ooze confidence.
He described the rapper “Knowledge” as intelligent adding that the singer “Piego” is raw and different.
9.Elhi: Reekado said he first noticed the artist in 2019 when he did a cover for his song RORA.
He said his eyes have been on him noting that he delivered on his new EP.
10.Victory: In Reekado words “The thing about Victory is that I have listened to only one of his songs and I have a strong feeling that he goes something heavy.”
He ended his statement about the singer by saying his fingers are crossed connoting he is on the lookout for his emergence on a bigger platform.
