Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have finally spoken about the sale of Eden Hazard. The club said they are now ready to offload the Belgian flop at the end of the season. Hazard joined the Spanish side for £90million back in the summer of 2019 from English Premier League side Chelsea with much expectation to lead Madrid on the pitch as their new star player.

But the player’s spell at the Bernabeu has been ruined by continuous fitness issues and injuries that have resulted in him not being able to either get a consistent run in the side or show his best form.

According to reports from Real Madrid fans, what’s the club to sell the player in the January transfer window. The player’s former side Lille, and Italian top side Juventus have indicated an interest in the player. Lille president Olivier Letang was quoted by Sport as telling L’Equipe: “A return of Hazard to Lille? It is not impossible to see it here. I go to Spain if necessary. It may seem impossible.”

The president also said: “Obviously, Hazard is an incredible player with a lot of quality. Right now, he is a Real Madrid player and is under contract with Real Madrid every day.”

English Premier League football new money club Newcastle United have also shown interest in the player. Hazard now has until the end of the season has to prove his worth at Madrid and he was given his first start in three months on Sunday in the game against Cadiz which ended goallessly.
