Real Madrid Star Sergio Diaz Faces Jail Terms
Real Madrid star Sergio Diaz who is currently on loan to Cerro Porteno in Paraguay is currently in trouble in his home country after he was caught on camera breaking the coronavirus lockdown rules. Sergio Diaz was caught in the company of some other players playing a volleyball game, it was gathered that t was caught on camera and the video evidence was shown to the authority and is still under investigation.
It was reported that neighbours in the area had reported cases of parties in around his house sometime in March although nothing was done about it this time with the video footage, the Real Madrid star could just be on his way to jail. It was gathered that they will be questioned by police authorities to their provide their own side of the allegation before any action or penalty will given.
The prosecutor told newsmen that several pieces of evidence were seized, including the volleyball net, balls, and several bottles of beer. He also said: “We were able to verify that there are more than two dozen, three dozen bottles; likewise, several cans of beer, sporting goods and shoes. They were all around the field and were not for personal use.”
This is coming barely three months after Brazil football legend Ronaldinho was detained in Paraguay over alleged possession of an altered passport. The 2002 World Cup winner arrived in Paraguay on Wednesday the 4th of March, for a charity event but was intercepted by officials in his hotel room. Ronaldinho and his entourage were reportedly invited to Paraguay by popular figure Nelson Belotti.
The Brazilan star has however been released, Real Madrid star Sergio Daiz could just be the next football star to go the Paraguayan prison, for now no decision or action has been taken against the player yet.
