RB Leipzig has announced their intentions known on who they want to use to replace their just departed head coach. According to reports, they plan to sign Jesse Marsch to replace Julian Nagelsmann as their new manager. The man was the head coach of Red Bull Salzburg, and he will start coaching RB Leipzig as soon as Nagelsmann leaves to become Bayern Munich head coach at the end of the season.
The 47-years-old was an assistant coach at Leipzig during the 2018/19 season, which is why the club is willing to hire him. According to the club, they said: “Jesse knows the club, the city of Leipzig and, above all, the club and playing philosophy.”
This was made known by the clubs chief executive Olivier Mintzlaff. He won the league and cup double with the Austrian side last season, and he is on his way to win the current league.
