Rashford, Pogba Set for League Resumption

Manchester United pair Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba will be available for selection when the Premier League season resumes, this was made known by the club’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Both Rashford and midfielder Pogba were both out with long-term injuries when the league was suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic in March.

Rashford and Pogba returns to training

Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba have now returned to training as they were seen in their small group training with the rest of the United squad last week. According to the manager, he said: “They’re looking good.” “They’ve joined training now and they’ve done everything the other boys have been doing. No reaction so far, touch wood. “When we get started, it looks like we can have a full squad to choose from.”

England international Rashford had been out with a back injury since January while France’s Pogba had missed most of the season with a foot problem. Paul Pogba was rumoured to be leaving the club in the next transfer window which comes up in summer but he has said he wants to remain at the Theatre of Dreams.

The return of the two players will be a very big boost to the team with the influence of Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United has not lost a match since the arrival of the midfielder from Sporting CP in Portugal. Manchester United has played ten games since he came and have eight and drew two with Bruno scoring four goals and provided over three assists.
