Manchester United’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick has made it known that he will not need all the players in United, and so he has decided to select some players and let them go; hence he will not be working with them. According to reports, the German identified six players he feels should leave the club as they are not in his plans for his six-month stay with Manchester United.
63-year-old Ralf Rangnick is now looking to stamp his authority on the squad by offloading players and possibly bringing in a couple of new ones in the January transfer window. Reports have it that Manchester United have given the German a £100million budget in the January transfer window. Still, new arrivals will also see some players leave the club, so he is releasing the players.
The report claims Edinson Cavani is likely to be on his way out as he heads into the final six months of his contract with Spanish La Liga side Barcelona showing interest, along with Paul Pogba, who is yet to decide on his future.
Also on the list is England midfielders Jesse Lingard who has struggled for game time this season and have also been included on the short-list. Juan Mata is also on the list with Phil Jones, Anthony Martial and Henderson. The listed players are all in the line to leave the club by January.
