The National Vice Chairman of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) for Northeast Zone, Alhaji Saleh Danburam Misau has stated that the party is poised to salvage Nigeria from the shackles of bad governance. He made the declaration on Thursday in Bauchi while interacting with the Bauchi State executive committee members and other stakeholders of the party.
Danburam Misau also urged leaders and members of the party across the North-East zone to remain united, steadfast and committed towards building and promoting the party at all levels.
He used the occasion to launch the party policy of ‘one man – one flag’ for the Northeast Zone in which each member of the party is mandated to raise the party flag at his or her place of residence.
He said, “all officials and members of this great party across the North East zone are required to raise a flag in their respective domains.
“This flag of PRP is a flag of freedom and it is a symbol of salvation that will improve the lives of Nigerians and take Nigeria to greater height.”
Danburam Misau added, “we need to remain ideological by emulating the politics of PRP founding fathers such as Malam Aminu Kano in which money does not count but selfless ideology and service to humanity.”
He also emphasized that participating in politics became necessary for every responsible person so as to eradicate the scourge of bad governance in Nigeria. He persuaded Nigerians to embrace the PRP as a party of salvation.
Danburam Misau finally thanked the officials and members of the party in Bauchi State for performing wonderfully during the recent 2019 general elections by winning two national assembly seats.
In his remarks, the State Chairman of the party in person of Alhaji Shehu Barau Ningi has, on behalf of the party officials and members in the state, expressed delight and appreciation for the visit by the National Vice Chairman. He expressed optimism that the conducive working relationship between the Bauchi State Chapter of the party and the National Vice Chairman would be maintained for the development of the party.
The state chairman also gave assurance that the party would capture power at all levels easily come 2023.
He also wished the National Vice Chairman success in all his endeavours.
Before visiting Bauchi State on Thursday, the National Vice Chairman had visited and interacted with the leaders and members of the party in Borno, Yobe, Gombe, Adamawa and Taraba States.
