Primary Elections: APC’s Working Committee Sets New Timetable

The initially scheduled primary elections of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been shifted to a new date as the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, took charge of the task.

NWC recently approved a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the primary elections ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The update was contained in a press statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in Abuja, yesterday.

According to him, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congresson on Monday, May 23, took time out to work on a revised version of the primaries’ timetable.

The revised schedule of activities is set for the Governorship, State House of Assembly, Senate and House of Representatives primary elections.

Also, the National Publicity Secretary explained that the governorship, state delegates, house of assembly, and local government area delegates’ primaries would be held on May 26.

He explained that the primary election for the Senate and local government delegates would hold on May 27, while the House of Representatives and local government delegates’ primaries would hold on May 28.

Morka reiterated that the party’s special convention for its 2023 presidential primary will be held as scheduled, on May 29 and 30.
