Says no Blackmail, Intimidation Can Stop His Ambition

The forthcoming Presidential Election and ambition of Asiwaju Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential hopeful has placed him in a critical position and exposed him to all sorts of backlash from perceived political enemies.

The Presidential Aspirant made it clear that no political intimidation or blackmail would deter him from contesting in the general elections and fulfilling his political ambition come 2023.

He spoke his mind to journalists after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Sunday, where he noted that his quest to become the next president is driven by courage and the zeal to confront any circumstances.

He said, “I have read about a Greek Philosopher that if you want to fight a pig, you must be ready to be smeared and I’m ready to be dirty…”

Tinubu also spoke on his visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan designate, Lekan Balogun, in his Alarere residence, Ibadan, in Oyo State, where he went to seek his blessings for the upcoming elections.

Tinubu Still Carrying Out Consultations

Pointing out that the consultation period for his ambition is still ongoing, he said, “I’ve not set a parameter of limitation to the extent of how many people I will consult.”

The 2023 presidential aspirant has since met with many political blocs across the nation and beyond in his quest to become the next Nigerian president.
