Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad clarifies appointment rumours

A Presidential aide, and Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on new media, Bashir Ahmad, today addressed and denied reports that he has been given a secret appointment as a manager in the Department for Petroleum Resources, DPR.

Ahmad took to Twitter to declare that these reports about his new appointment were absolutely false.

“A friend sent me a link to a concocted story from an online news blog that the President has quietly appointed me as a manager of the DPR, Department of Petroleum Resources, for those who want to know the truth, the story is 100% FALSE. I am not a staff of the DPR.”, Ahmad tweeted.
