Pastor Adeboye Advises FG On Social Media Regulation
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday held a closed-door meeting with the General Overseer Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor Enoch Adeboye at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It was gathered that the Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari were at the meeting which lasted for about an hour.
The agenda of the meeting between the president and the Cleric was unknown at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, the meeting is coming amidst divergent reaction trailing the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020 (“CAMA 2020”), which repeals and replaces the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 1990 after President Muhammadu Buhari assented to the bill.
You will recall that Pastor Adeboye had in 2017 visited the president in London, who then was on medical vacation.
