Sokoto Monarch Dies Of Protracted Illness
While many were still expressing shock over the sudden demise of an ex-beauty queen and wife of a popular Nigerian preacher, Ibidun Ighodalo, another Nigerian singer, Juliet Ita also known as Mhiz Amber, has been confirmed dead.
It was gathered that the lifeless body of the promising singer was found in the house she shared with her foreign lover, Jim Roach in Calabar, Cross River State.
However, Roach had claimed that she committed suicide after they had an argument on Friday after the lifeless body of Juliet, who is said to be 5 months pregnant, was found hanging in the apartment.
Though the circumstances surrounding her death remain unknown at the time of filing this report, her friends and loved ones have demanded a thorough investigation after the Nigerian Singer Dies In Calabar.
Some of her friends claimed that the duo had been having issues in their relationship and it usually turned violent.
Confirming this, one of her friends disclosed that the late singer had decided to quit the relationship before she found out that she was pregnant.
According to the friend, Juliet asked Roach to pay her off with N5million but he allegedly agreed to pay her N2.2 million and was yet to fulfil the promise before her death.
Sources confirmed that the singer had been in a relationship with Jim for about 10 years before her death on Saturday, June 13, 2020.
