Popular Nigerian Music Producer is Dead
The Nigerian music industry has been shaken to its core as a popular music producer is dead.
The veteran producer Ayorinde Faboro whose moniker, Dr Frabz stood for Doctor of Flavour, Rhythm and Blues, worked with many big names in the industry is known as Doctor Frabz. He has worked with the likes of Davido, Wizkid, Omawumi and the late Dagrin
His death was announced by one of his close friends and fellow producer Samklef. He wrote,
“Rip legend! Ayo ( dr Frabz) We spoke 2 weeks ago u asked how is Houston treating me? I came to Maryland yesterday only for me to hear that u are no more today. What a sad day! A brother is gone! another producer is gone! RIP!”
Singer Nikki Laoye was the one who gave a hint as to the circumstances surrounding his death. According to her tweet, the producer was allegedly shot.
Other music personalities also expressed their shock as some of them shared that they were in communication with him just days/ weeks ago.
