It’s a very sad news for the friends and family of popular Ibadan socialite, Olaleye Ajibola, aka Gattuso.
According to reports gathered, Gattuso man was killed by gunmen on Saturday in a hotel on NTC premises, Iyaganku in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
SaharaReporters gathered that armed robbers were in operation in the hotel when the popular Ibadan socialite arrived.
The young man was subsequently shot dead by the robbers.
According to an eyewitness, Gattuso was making a call when the robbers sighted him and shot him at close range, probably believing he was calling security agencies.
It was also gathered that the robbers had completed the operation before the socialite was killed.
The eyewitness also reported that guests, members of staff and other people at the hotel lost valuables to the robbery incident.
In other news, supporters of Sunday Igboho, an activist in the Oyo State capital burnt down the houses belonging to Fulani communities at Ibarapa, Ibadan.
According to reports, the Nigerian government has ordered the arrest of Sunday Igboho.
