Police Rescue Man Held Captive For 15 Years In Kano

Men of the Kano state police command have rescued another man allegedly held in captivity for 15 years by his father at Skeka quarters in Kano.

According to vanguard news, the 35-years-old man identified as Ibrahim Lawan was 20-years-old when he was locked up in captivity.

A video that has gone viral shows how the man was evacuated on a stretcher from an uncompleted apartment into a waiting ambulance to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.

Lawan was reportedly rescued on Sunday by the detectives attached to the Kano state Headquarters of the state Command Bompai.

You will recall that about four days ago, another man, Ahmed Aminu, 30-years-old was rescued by the police in the state after about seven years that he has been confined by his father, Aminu Farawa in a garage.

Meanwhile, there is no official statement from the police as at the time of filing in this report.
