Police Intensify Search For Magajin Garin Daura

The Daura police command have intensified methods to finding the traditional ruler. Using massive strategic security operations, both covert and overt missions. Methods which are aimed at subduing the criminal gang and restoring sanity to the land.

The family of traditional ruler, Magajin Garin Duara are agitated over his search, rescue and safety.

The kidnap of the ruler also put on hold the planned turbaning of Aisha Kande, his younger sister. She was scheduled to be turbaned as “Magajiya Yar Kuntu”.

The Katsina State Commissioner of Police (CP), Sanusi Buba, has relocated to Daura. CP Buba is currently in Daura to coordinate all investigation and rescue operations by police operatives to locate the kidnappers.

Frank Mba, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), confirmed that the CP Buba has relocated his office from the state capital to Daura.

Mba explained that currently there are massive strategic security operations; both covert and overt missions, taking place at different parts of the country.

“However,” he said “because of the covert and sensitive nature of their operations, I will not discuss them for now. But Nigerians should be assured that the entire law enforcement and intelligence community in Nigeria will not rest until we win the battle.”

Corroborating on the investigation, the police spokesman in Katsina, SP Gambo Isah, said “There is a substantial development. A very good progress has been made, but for security reasons we are not going to disclose it now.”

Based on his reports, “We are waiting for the right time to disclose it. But victory is ours, we are in Daura presently with the CP as well.”

So far, sources from the family, say no reports of a ransom demand has been made. Although, the same source says contact has been made between the family and the kidnappers, where the victim was able to speak to one of his wives.

Meanwhile, mosques across the Daura Emirate have intensified prayers as directed by Emir Faruk.

The traditional ruler, is a retired Customs Controller. He is married to Hajiya Bilki, who is a niece to The President.
