Police have made several daring attempts to suppress the determination of EndSARS protesters, yet, this approach proves futile.
The overwhelming number of participants at the Lekki Toll Gate commenced reinforcing to counter the efforts of the security men present at the scene.
It was gathered that the officers earlier unleashed terror on the demonstrators, forcefully pushing them away from the protest ground.
Already, clips show that many of the demonstrators sustained various degrees of injury while running from the tactical offence of the officers.
The cops reported fired teargas to hinder the EndSARS marchers from charging any further and causing any possible disruption of non-protesters’ activities as well as avert the destruction of public facilities and properties.
The Wednesday agitation from the participants allegedly started peacefully but suddenly escalated into a major pandemonium as the once organized crowd tried running for safety after the police struck.
Meanwhile, several arrests have already been made as bystanders are not left behind. The officers are ensuring the aggrieved youths are denied any opportunity to exercise their rights.
