Pastor Allegedly Impregnates 2 Sisters
The Lagos State Police Command said it had arrested Afobaje Maiyegun, the man who shared photos on Facebook about how he battered his wife’s face and bragged about the act.
According to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, DSVRT also confirmed Maiyegun’s arrest.
The DSVRT says Afobaje would be taken to court on Friday, May 15.
The agency disclosed that it reached out to ACP Gbolahan Odugbemi, Area Commander, Area J who immediately effected the arrest of Maiyegun.
It further warned that the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has declared a zero-tolerance to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in the State and as such perpetrators will face the full weight of the law.
Meanwhile, an investigation by the DSVRT showed that this isn’t the first time Afobaje would batter his wife.
