POETRY: TIME

Share

Maybe today or morrow,

The sun will surely shine

Sooner or later,

The ants will be on a straight line

Seedtime or harvest time,

We’ll surely have a pure wine

It is now or never,

Victory shall be mine.

You win today and I win tomorrow,

Every man’s time differs

Earlier or later,

We’ll definitely be together

Summer, winter, autumn, and spring,

There’s a season for man to remember

Tick-tock, Tick-tock,

Every man’s time draws nearer.

Day by day,

The lord give us this day we pray,

Season by season,

We all feel the sun’s ray

Year in year out,

We are all set like eggs on tray

My time will surely come,

Everyman with his time, this I say.
