POETRY: In His Time

Share

All things bright and beautiful in his time

If you force it then it’s a crime

Life goes on even when you’re with no dime

Be hopeful when life seems not to rhyme

The green path may likely turn lime

But soon it will become evergreen in its moment

Then your pain becomes past as food turns to chyme.

No man knows when his hour will come

If you’re waiting, then it is worrisome

One, two, and three you have to pill up the sums

Don’t just fold your arms let it get warm

Let Him be your backbone even if you’re a worm

In His time your hour will surely come

Then give you rest as He takes you home.

Time and chance happens to all

If you miss it, that’s a missed call

As six o’clock we all want to stand tall

When it’s not your moment you may even fall

You just have to keep moving even if it is to crawl

Soon you’ll have all as a shopping mall

Then time and chance you’ll recall

Tick says the clock tick-tick

If you sleep on it, you’ll get a stick

Work your socks off and don’t be weak

Your moment comes any day of the week

When He picks your call, you’ll be on fleek

Pain, struggles, and sorrows all gone in a flick

His time or your time, which would you pick?
