Poem: Lovey Dovey

Share
As snail to its shell
I’ve followed you everywhere
You are the toll
In which my albumen revolved
What is a mile?
With you, it’s just a mere step
Your memory is wired through my veins
I can’t forget you coz you’re my life
I’ve wondered why my skin has pores
Until I realised it's laid down for your presence
How I love to see your eyes
Like the stars in the sky
Hold on to my tight
As a creeping plant in a bushy farm
Oh! my soul What a love
That perched on my land as a done
Your song is the best I have heard
Lovey-dovey, lovey-dovey
My ear tingles day and night.
