The plane bringing Nigerians back from the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, because of the Coronavirus Pandemic has reportedly returned after leaving the airport.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Ferdinand Nwonye had earlier hinted that the returnees would be coming into Nigeria today with hotel arrangements made for them in Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
The chattered plane had to return to base after a pregnant woman reportedly went into labour mid-air.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement, about 300 rooms have been prepared for the returnees at Bolingo hotel, 61 rooms at Apo Apartments, 80 at Royalty, 200 rooms at the Chida International among others.
