Reality TV star Phyna has sparked conversations online after sharing her opinion about the way some Nigerian women in the hookup business present themselves.
The former Big Brother Naija winner made the comments during a livestream, where she compared what she observed in Kenya with what she sees in Nigeria.
According to Phyna, women she encountered in Kenya paid more attention to their appearance, wearing heels, styling their hair and applying makeup while standing by the roadside. She said their appearance made them look prepared for work.
However, she expressed disappointment with what she described as the casual dressing of some Nigerian hookup girls, particularly those around Orchid Road and Farm City in Lagos.
Phyna complained that some of the women wore slippers and ordinary gowns without makeup or lip gloss. She argued that they needed to put more effort into their appearance if they wanted people to take their services seriously.
She also questioned why some women became unhappy when clients offered them amounts lower than what they expected, suggesting that their presentation could influence how potential customers viewed them.
The reality star encouraged them to make simple changes, such as wearing heels, styling their hair properly and adding makeup. She stressed that looking attractive did not necessarily require expensive clothes or accessories.
