Big Brother Naija season 7 winner Phyna has raised alarm after her colleague Hermes was assaulted by police. Apparently Hermes was coming back with some of his friends from where they went to see a movie when some police officers stopped them on their way back.
According to Hermes he said when they stopped him and his friend Michael one of the police officers recognised him, the officer said he should show them love (give them money).
Hermes said he was already looking for his bag to give him money but the other officer came to him and cracked his gun and started searching their things. It was when he posted it that Phyna reacted and said she faced similar thing some time ago.
She said the actions of the police officers is very bad and is very bad that people are not taking it seriously. Phyna said: this guys are crazy, I have been searched like that 2 times, they nor won even know who you be, this niggas we call police are not it at all.” Addressing it, Hermes said it is bad that Nigerians has normalised the bad activities of the police.
Hermes said someone told him to go get mopol to be following him around but he said if he gets police for himself what about the other Nigerians who can not get mopol.
He said the best is that we should not normalised what is wrong and not get use to being assaulted by police officers. Hermes said he misplaced his phone which cost 1.4 million because of the assault. The Nigerian police force is yet to make a comment as regards the incident that happened.
