Peter Obi’s Vice, Yusuf Datti, Explains Why Tinubu Should Step Down

Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, have been vocal about the deteriorating health of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, All Progressives Congress, APC’s flag bearer.

Speaking at a recent event, a trending link on Twitter featured LP’s Vice Presidential Candidate, giving obvious reasons Tinubu should not participate in the 2023 General Elections.

While sympathising with the Jagaban of Lagos as regards the state of his health, Baba-Ahmed accepted the fact that it is only God that heals and guarantees good and physical wellbeing but insisted that Nigeria is too great than any individual or group’s ambition that wants to force itself on the citizens.

He recalled when former President Goodluck Jonathan declared that his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian, thereby, handing over power and earning his respect in Africa and the world at large.

Meanwhile, “Bola Ahmed Tinubu claims to be a Godfather, he can continue to be a Godfather. This Nigerian Presidency is not for him.

“It is not in our place, Peter Obi and myself to tell him that he’s sick, please go and relax.”

The bottom line is that Tinubu is not fit to run for the number one position in the country, adding that LP will defeat him at the polls and still treat him with respect while showing him how the ruling is done.
