Chelsea fans can now smile as Pedro’s Surgery went well

Spain and Chelsea forward Pedro has undergone successful surgery after dislocating his shoulder during his side’s FA Cup final loss to Arsenal. Pedro’s teammates were left to finish the game which later ended in tears for the Chelsea team.

The 33-year-old who came on as a second-half substitute, collided with Gunners goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez in the closing stages of the match at Wembley. The Spanish forward is, however, leaving the English Premier League side after spending five years in the club, there have been reports of links linking him to Italian Serie A side AS Roma.

The news about the success of the surgery was seen on Pedro’s social media handle (Instagram) where he wrote: “The surgery went well, I will be back soon.” “It was a pity not to win the FA Cup. Thank you all for your support.” Chelsea is in Champions League action on Saturday as they look to overhaul a 3-0 deficit in the second leg of their last-16 tie at Bayern Munich.
