Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from all indications, has shown its undisturbed by the defection of Ex-Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK.
The party’s segment in the South-West recently congratulated the All Progressives Congress, APC, over the acceptance of FFK into their fold.
His defection, however, did not come as a surprise to members of his former party and Nigerians in general, following his meetings with chieftains of the present administration.
Commenting, the former Minister earlier noted that the Spirit of God led him to join the ruling party, stressing that his previous attack on President Muhammadu Buhari was only political and that the present APC is redefined.
Responding to critics in a statement themed, “FFK: South-West PDP hails APC for inheriting liability,” the zone spokesperson, Sanya Atofarati, described Fani-Kayode as a beggar and political liability.
He said the socio-political and economic situations in the country were getting worse by the day under President Buhari’s administration.
