Buhari Meets Security Chiefs on Boko Haram Attacks
Members of the People’s Democratic Party are blaming President Buhari for the terrible security situation in Nigeria especially in Kaduna and Kogi States. They alleged that the central control system of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government has collapsed.
The party raised alarm over incessant attacks going on in Kaduna communities by herdsmen and the robbery in Kogi state. The most recent attack in Tudu village Doka, in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, left not less than 9 people dead with many houses burnt.
The Kogi State commercial bank robbery also resulted in about 23 people dead on Thursday in Isanlu area of the state.
The PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiya, expressed his frustrations over the inability of the President to handle to insecurity situation effectively. He classified Nigeria as a minefield for bandits, insurgents, kidnappers, for marauders. He went ahead adding that the current administration has failed Nigerians. He accused the President of the inability to employ his military experience in tackling the insecurity situation of Nigeria.
