Paul Scholes Get new Coaching Job

Former Manchester United and England midfielder Paul Scholes has been appointed as the caretaker manager of Salford City after the club sacked Graham Alexander this morning. The former manager Alexander was appointed in May 2018 was fired although his side has been unbeaten this season.

Salford City has sacked boss Graham Alexander and put ex-Manchester United player Paul Scholes in interim charge. 49-year-old Alexander led the club to promotion to the English Football League in his first season in 2018-19.

Scholes’ only previous experience in management was 31 days as boss of the hometown club Oldham Athletic in 2019. He resigned from his position as he was “not able to operate as I intended”. His first game as Salford boss will be Saturday’s trip to Port Vale.
