Anita Okoye, the estranged wife of famous Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has reportedly demanded $15,000 (N7.8m) as monthly spousal support amidst reports making the rounds about their divorce.

The mother of three made the demand in the petition she filed before an Abuja High Court.⁣⁣ According to the petition, the payment is for the general welfare, education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age.

Earlier, Anita Okoye had filed a divorce at the Federal High Court, Abuja and advised Paul Okoye of the defunct P Square group to challenge the petition if he feels disgruntled.⁣

Anita had earlier sparked divorce rumours in April 2021 when she allegedly relocated with their three children to the United States of America.⁣

Meanwhile, fans and lovers of the singer have reacted to the reports that his wife, Anita, filed for divorce after spending 17 years together and seven years of marriage.
