Late Bello met his untimely death on his way to buy “kobo’ a famous and highly rated food in the community.

Some Customs officers were said to be shooting in the air while raiding shops in the area looking for smuggled goods which resulted in a straying bullet killing poor Bello.

Monarch of the community, Oba Akindele, told newsmen that the killers of the young boy, must not be allowed to go unpunished. “ He was not at the scene of the hostility.

Those who killed him owe Nigerians an explanation on why through their carelessness they eliminated this boy.”

The show of terror was said to have made the youth resident in the community rampaging before security men, restored normalcy and calming down tension.

Meanwhile, Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Command, Abdullahi Maiwada, while confirming his awareness of the incident claimed that the boy was rather killed by cultists and not officers of the Nigeria Customs Service.
