P-Square Rift Deepens As Rudeboy Questions Family Ties

Share

The ongoing feud within the once-popular music duo, P-Square, took a new turn on Monday as Paul Okoye, known professionally as Rudeboy, expressed his disappointment over the state of his relationship with his brothers.

Despite the successful reunion of the group in 2021 after a four-year hiatus, the Okoye brothers have once again found themselves embroiled in a public dispute. The latest round of accusations and counter-accusations has centred around financial mismanagement and the alleged diversion of funds.

In a recent Instagram live session, Rudeboy questioned why he and his brothers cannot maintain a familial bond even though their professional partnership has dissolved. “Even if we don’t do P-Square, can’t we be brothers? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers?” Rudeboy lamented.

“Like I said, I don’t want to talk much. I don’t used to talk before. It’s so unfortunate.” Rudeboy said

The singer’s heartfelt plea comes as the brothers continue to air their grievances publicly. Peter Okoye, previously accused Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, of financial impropriety, while Jude has denied these allegations.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is currently investigating the matter.

As the situation unfolds, fans and industry observers alike are left hoping for a resolution that will restore harmony to the Okoye family.
