Nigerian Police Officer Electrocuted in Abuja
The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the interception of the corpse of a suspected Coronavirus patient about to be brought into the state from Ibadan the Oyo State capital.
The news of a suspected dead patient of Coronavirus that was almost suggled into the Osun State went viral and was tagged a rumour or at best a fake news, but the news has now been confirmed.
Confirming the incident, Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident stressing that the State Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo has after the incident orders a smarter border town monitoring.
An eyewitness report claimed a Mazda car driven by one Ismalia Ademola was conveying the corpse of a man identified as Yusuf Ishola.
The report also said the security officers and government officials who intercepted the corpse escorted the car and the body back to Oyo State handing it over to the state police command.
