Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has attacked veteran Nollywood actress Uche Jumbo following her comment on Twitter. The actress said she preferred Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League ahead of Napoli.
This comment did not land well with the Super Eagles striker who was in action in Napoli’s 2-0 win over Fiorentina, which took them back to the fourth place position ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juve. The win brought Juventus down from the fourth place position, which is the Champions League spot.
Both Napoli and Juventus are all in the chase to make the Champions League spot. Uche Jumbo’s comment is no one wants to play Champions League football. Napoli is just one point above Juventus, and any slight mistake made by Napoli will mean Juventus will qualify at their expense.
Uche Jumbo commented on her tweet, saying: “Kai. I want CR7 playing UCL next season. Love him or hate him. There’s something he brings.” Victor Osimhen replied to her, saying that he also wants to play in the Champions League. He said: “No wahala Aunty Uche. Me sef wan play UCL o.”
