Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has criticised the Presidential campaign approach of the 2023 election aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He stressed that the former Lagos State Governor is missing the point with his campaign strategy as he has commenced the pursuit of his presidential ambition on a wrong note.
Explaining the point further, the Benue State Governor stated that he needs to continue from where President Muhammadu Buhari stopped in 2023.
The Governor mentioned this yesterday while giving his input to the amended Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law 2017.
Buhari-led Admin Failed Nigerians- Ortom
He stressed that the Mohammadu Buhari-led administration failed the people of Nigeria woefully while addressing other very-sensitive issues in the process.
The Benue State Governor also tackled issues surrounding the amendment of the ranching law, stating that the rule of law shouldn’t be toiled with, and anything otherwise would eventually lead to anarchy.
“We all know the history of the Benue Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishments Law of 2017.
It came as a child of necessity. Our people were being killed, our people were maimed, and our children and women were raped. Our villages were destroyed.” He said.
The Governor recalled how the ancestral homes of his people can’t be accessed by over 1.5 million of them, adding that Fulani herdsmen destroyed them and sent his people packing.
