The organ harvesting charge against Ike Ekweremadu, Nigerian Senator, has gone the opposite way as he has been denied bail once again.
The judge handling the case insisted that there’s no basis to grant him bail seeing that the accusations levelled against him do not warrant an easy pass.
However, the judge, being magnanimous, decided to grant Ike Ekweremadu‘s wife, Mrs. Beatrice, bail, which is subject to some fairly stringent conditions.
They both appeared at the court in Old Bailey, sited in the United Kingdom, UK, to answer questions regarding the harvesting of organs of an under-aged boy.
Information about her bail got to newsmen during the court hearing coordinated by Common Sergeant of London, Judge Richard Marks.
He postponed their hearing again to August 4, 2022, where the fate of the Nigerian Senator would be near conclusion.
Recall that Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice were accused of planning to traffic the victim to transplant his organs to their daughter who suffers from kidney failure.
