Super Eagles of Nigeria and Torino player Ola Aina are in the frame to feature in Nigeria’s friendly against La Tri of Ecuador on Thursday after returning to team training. The player missed Nigeria’s 2-1 defeat to Mexico last Sunday after picking a knock in training. The Torino defender could however feature against the North Americans after shaking off the injury.
One player has, however, opted out of the game, midfielder Innocent Bonke has however been ruled out of the game after sustaining an injury in the game against Mexico. Bonke was replaced at half-time by Sani Faisal. 20 players are however available for selection following Emmanuel Dennis’ arrival on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles will take on Ecuador at the Red Bull Arena, Harrison, New Jersey. The game is going to be a new Nigeria head coach game, he has already lost his first game which was against Mexico, and the Portuguese, however, said he was impressed with the performance of the players.
