Following Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bayo Onanuga, one of the officials of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, has suggested a point that Jagaban’s ability to hold and wave their party’s broom during the campaign, makes him fit to run for the number position in Nigeria.
When Nigerians heard the unguided statement by a former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Onanuga about Tinubu, many took to their Twitter handles to express how disappointed they were hearing that load of crap.
Taking the matter up during the Arise TV morning show, Presenter and Analyst, Rufai Oseni, hammered on the issue and described the veteran Journalist’s comment as misleading.
He pointed out that Nigeria’s campaign has been degraded to a level that they now looking at the ability to lift cups of tea and brooms as the yardstick to measure a healthy candidate.
Rufai called on Public Affairs Analysts, Social Commentators and Civil Societies to take the matter up as regards pushing laws that dictate the presentation of health records of any political leader to the public.
