Famous Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has listed things that make her admire being an African.

In a post via her Instagram page, Omotola, who recently celebrated her 25th Anniversary as an actress noted that she admires Africa for its rich culture and heritage.

She posted a photo of herself adorning an Ankara with a caption to express how much she appreciates Africans for their strong and Tenacious spirit.

Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the African Union on 25 May 1963.

The day formerly known as African Freedom Day and African Liberation Day is celebrated in various African countries and other countries around the world.

Meanwhile, Turkey’s foreign minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu has opined that Solidarity with Africa is more essential than ever, given the COVID-19 outbreak.

He noted that the unprecedented conditions caused by the outbreak all over the world render the solidarity symbolized by Africa Day even more significant this year.

According to him, the progress achieved in recent years by Africa in many fields enables Africans to look to the future with hope, despite the different challenges bedevilling the African continent.
