Olympic flag returns to Tokyo after a successful nationwide tour. The Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics organising committee organised a ceremony remarking the conclusion of the flag tour across Japan. This is since the flag7s arrival from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in August and September respectively.

During the tour, more than 80,000 people were part of the welcoming ceremonies in all the 47 prefectures. The flags additionally toured each prefecture for one month giving more members of the public the opportunity to interact more with them.

Less than 500 days to go until the opening ceremony for the Tokyo 2020, the flag tour has successfully created a sense of unity across the county by communicating the Olympic and Paralympic ideals through the flags that symbolise them.
