Ogun State Police Take Action Against 2 Eiye Cultists

OgunState Police Command has taken some crucial steps to bring some suspected eiye cultists under its custody after thorough investigations.

They apprehended two alleged confraternity members during the weekend to forcefully drag an unwilling university student to become a team player in their cultism practice.


The state police released the suspects’ names, which includes ogunsola Ayo and his co-cult member, Owoseni Gbemisola.

The supposed crime of these suspects was that they both deceived a twenty-one-year-old student of the University of Olabisi Onabanjo into accompanying them for a job.

Meanwhile, the unsuspecting student was heading to a trap, not knowing the eiye duo had already programmed a damaging move to trap the student.

On reaching the place of their business, Ayo and Gbemisola, the cult members, immediately started beating the Onabanjo university undergraduate and indirectly initiated him in the process.

Victim Narrates Ordeal to Ogun State Police

The complainant reported the incident at Ago iwoye divisional headquarters. He was lured to Ijebu Igbo by one Yemi Justice, also known as JP, under the pretence of going for a job. Still, on getting to ijebu Igbo, the Yemi, alongside Gbemisola and Ayo, blindfolded him and beat him for initiation.
