NYSC Camps Will Not Reopen Soon
The management of the National Youth Service Corps revealed that the camps will not reopen until it is completely safe to do so considering the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking in an official statement, the Director, Press and Public Relations, Mrs Adeyemi Adenike revealed this. She added that the public should ignore the news that camp is about to reopen and that registrations have started. She encouraged all parties involved to make sure they only heed correct information from official sources.
In her statement, Adenike remarked that the scheme has placed a very high value on the lives of the corps members, camp officials and other stakeholders. She reminded the public that the scheme suspended the 2020 Batch A Stream 1 orientation programme as a result of their commitment to protect the lives of all involved in the scheme.
