Video Of Northerners Disguised As ‘Press Men’ being Smuggled Into Onisha…
Nigeria is on the uncharted territory since the beginning of the covid 19 pandemic. Most countries of the world went on lockdown to minimize the spread of this killer virus., and Nigeria wasn’t excluded.
The pandemic lock down was not without its shares of troubles as most countries dealt with its many complications like, economic setback, humanitarian crisis, homophobia, hate crimes, hoarding of foodstuffs and the inhuman hike in prices of foodstuff.
In Nigeria, we had unique problems centered on higer levels of poverty, high rate of crime, social disobidience. All these as we are fighing the pandemic by being locked down and praticing social distancing even as the virus heavily spreads.
The government in an effort to curb it banned intrastate travels but many Nigerians are disregarding that directive. Some citizens have resulted in a dehumanizing nature of crime to disobey the governments order, which is Human trafficking.
Some northerners who disguised themselves as ‘press men’ were intercepted by some volunteers by 3 am May 9, at the Onitsha Overhead Bridge in Anambra State.
The travellers who violated and disregared the nationwide curfew order issued by President Buhari, were turned back by the Anambra Task Force officials who warned that their vehicle might be impounded next time.
The task force officials also decried the use of a “press vehicle” to “smuggle in” people into the state.
