Nollywood veteran actress, Louisa Nwobodo has been confirmed dead.
Louisa Nwobodo’s death has been confirmed by the former Chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Enugu Chapter, Stan K. Amadi. The report says the 78-year-old vetrean actress passed out on Sunday, September 13th, 2020, in her carin St. Mulumbus Catholic Church, New Haven, Enugu.
The popular actress was rushed to the hospital but couldn’t make it as she was confirmed dead. The deceased body has now been deposited in a morgue pending her Funeral arrangements.
The late actress carved a niche for herself in the Nigerian film industry. She featured in movies such as ‘Indemnity’, ”Never Say Goodbye‘, ‘Made In Cambridge‘ and so on.
Louisa Nwobodo’s became the second death in the Nigerian movie industry recently. Prof Ayobami Akinwale, a Nollywood veteran actor and academician also passed out on Sunday, 13th of September, 2020 after a brief illness.
