Nollywood actor, Bobby Michaels has revealed why colleague, Ernest Asuzu was abandoned by a lot of friends and family.

Until his death, Ernest was said to have been battling with stroke since 2014. In January, 2020 a video of the actor pleading for alms went viral on social media.
This has got many Nigerians to slam the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and others for abandoning him when he was suffering.
Meanwhile, Ernests’ colleague, Bobby Michael in a recent interview responded to a question on the deceased being abandoned by Nollywood.
The actor stated that stories of Ernest Asuzu having spiritual problems has got many to stay away from him.
In his words, “I don’t think he was but when things got really bad, I can say that a lot of people left him to his fate, until he got rescued by a few kind individuals.
“Stories of how he was thought to have spiritual problems at some time scared a lot of folks from him back then too.“ he added.
Bobby Michael who stated that he ventured into the movie industry same time as Ernest however cannot give the details of his colleague’s death.
