Nollywood Actor, Joseph Benjamin reveals crazy thing he had to do to survive in the uSA. He revealed why he had to become an Uber driver to survive in the USA.

“Before I started connecting to the industry here, I had to become to earn a living” He said. he told the interviewer that due to his lack of work experience in corporate America or Nigeria, so he was advised to create a resume. he went into It and the rest. However, he revealed that the bougs clams made in his resume could easily be seen through.

He revealed that he came to America off the promise that they were gigs waiting for him. Asa result, he packed up his bags on a one way ticket to America. “I was put in a well furnished house” he revealed.

He said that two days later they told him that the financiers had pulled out. He was asked to start paying rent. “the reality that hit me was that by next month i have to start paying rent” he said.

He revealed he had nowhere to turn to or where to go. With little to no work experience outside acting, he was thrown into confusion. Now he was faced with rent and utility bills with no means of income.

He started thinking of how to get back to Nigeria. Although he wanted to return, he did not even have money for a ticket. “My life prior to then was so disorganised in a sense that I did not have a proper saving culture”, he confessed. Due to his poor saving culture and reckless spending, he had no means of returning back to Nigeria.

While he prayed for rescue, God revealed to him “welcome to the life I have arranged for you, all this was purposed by design, I needed to break you away from your comfort zone so i can build you”.

Now wth no money and no way to earn a living, he cried. “I was literally shedding tears”< he confessed. However, he revealed to his surprise he somehow managed to pay his rent.

He later got connected to his church where someone gave him a car. With this car, he was advised to start Uber. & Lyft. When asked if he was afraid that he might carry Nigerians that might recognise him, he revealed that he did.
