Nnamdi Kanu Condemns Senseless Killings in South-East

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, recently condemned the senseless killings of residents in the South Eastern parts of the country.

Realising the illegal activities of some of the perpetrators of these crimes claiming to be members of IPOB, Kanu immediately ordered a total stop to the unscrupulous killings, especially those done in the name of Biafra.

Although, Nnamdi Kanu is still in detention at the Department of State Services, DSS facility in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, where he reacted to the spate of bloodletting and insecurity in the region.

Speaking on behalf of the IPOB leader was his younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, who communicated Kanu’s message to journalists yesterday evening, after paying a visit.

Prince Emmanuel explained how sad his elder brother had become over the numerous bloodsheds in the region, pointing out that the ways of the killers has nothing to do with Kanu’s message.

Hie cited the IPOB leader saying that all those behind the current killings in the South East must be held accountable for their atrocities, adding that Ndigbo were not known for cannibalism, reportedly, demanded the immediate release of one Mrs. Ukamaka Ejezie popularly known as Mama Biafra.
