Northern youth, under the auspices of the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, have reached out to the President of the country, Muhammadu Buhari concerning the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

In what sounds like a significant threat, they have also declared that Nnamdi Kanu’s days are numbered.
AYCF National President, Yerima Shettima said the Nigerian government should devise a means to arrest and repatriate Kanu to face his trial.
He pointed out that Kanu is taking advantage of Nigeria’s unemployment rate to recruit people and incite them against other Nigerians.
In the words of Shettima, he had never seen Kanu as a serious “human being” and the way he goes about instigating people against their fellow Nigerians cannot be allowed to continue.
“Nigerian government must devise a means through interpol to get him arrested and made to face his trial”, Shettima said.
Kanu has been on the run for about two years after he was bailed and instructed by the government not to leave the country.
